Friends of Uddens & Cannon Hill Woodlands Conservation Tasks

Activity: Conservation and public access tasks including clearing vegetation, installing benches and maintaining paths etc. Tools and training provided. Tasks can be found for all ages and abilities. Gloves provided, Safety goggles available if required, Refreshments provided (Hot & Cold drinks and biscuits). Sausages cooked on the bonfire during winter months. In the case of extreme weather conditions (particularly wind) check on the website or with the organiser before travelling.
Where: Cannon Hill and Uddens Woodlands, beterrn Ferndown and Wimborne
Suggested things to bring: Waterproofs, suitable walking footwear,clothing for outdoor work - suitable for the weather conditions.

Accredited Natural Choices activities are regular (weekly/fortnightly) and providers have public liability insurance and health and safety policies.
Non-accredited Natural Choices activities are less frequent (e.g. monthly) and/or providers are community groups without insurances or policies but activities are equally beneficial to health and wellbeing.
